Settled on the Welsh borders, Life Under Canvas produce high quality, 100% cotton canvas bell tents and camping accessories.
We were approached to create a visual identity for Life Under Canvas which could be applied to their bell tents, awnings and inners, promotional print, stationery, packaging and e-commerce website.
We created a contemporary brand identity for Life Under Canvas, made up of an illustrative bell tent logo mark and bespoke logo type.
The irregular stroke of the typeface is designed to bring a more organic feel to the outdoor lifestyle brand. What’s more, the letter ‘A’ was designed to incorporate a ‘tent’.
The bright colour palette helps to support their motivational strapline of ‘Get the kit & Make it happen’.
The circle version of the brand identity includes this message and arranged as a uplifting, cheerful smile. ⠀
Embroidered with a Life Under Canvas logo, each 280g sand cotton canvas bell tent and awning are mould and water resistant.
Cotton is a sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable material, making it an excellent choice as an environmentally friendly fibre.
The logo type was applied to the guy ropes on each Life Under Canvas tent. The lime green not only ties in with the brand colour palette, but can be seen in the dark.
Printed with two spot colours direct onto fabric, the internal labels clearly communicate the fire safety rules.
For eco-conscious Life Under Canvas, we sourced a recycled stock for the business stationery.
Printed on FSC certified G.F Smith paper, the format for the Life Under Canvas marketing leaflet echoes the shape of a pitched tent.
We adopted a minimal design approach for the concertina leaflet, in order to celebrate the simply, functional outdoor living products.⠀
